The Forza 720B Bi-Colour LED Monolight from Nanlite is made to fill production roles usually handled by powerful HMI lights in a much more lightweight, compact, and heat-efficient package, with the added benefit of adjustable bi-colour control. The COB LED component can deliver an immense amount of accurate, high CRI and TLCI light with a rated power of 800 watts while being nimble enough to dim from 0 to 100% in 0.1% increments. It offers a suite of wireless control options, for single lamp operation or more complex multi-light setups. Twelve built-in practical effects can create complicated lighting scenarios in seconds, which can be customised and saved as quickly recallable presets with the free NANLINK mobile app.
This high-performance light is easy to handle, mount, and position, but easily controlled by analog selectors on the separate control unit. The control unit also acts as a multi-voltage power supply and features two integrated V-mount battery plates.
With an average CRI of 96 and TLCI of 97, the Forza 720B provides a high level of accuracy for precise colour reproduction.
The powerful NANLINK mobile app can be used via built-in Bluetooth. The separately available WS-TB-1 transmitter box can be paired with the built-in 2.4G receiver for more elaborate setups. Advanced applications can utilize DMX and RDM control through XLR input and output.
12 built-in practical effects allow the creation of complicated lighting scenarios in seconds, and all of the effects can be deeply customized and saved as quickly recallable presets with the free NANLINK mobile app. the built-in practical effects include CCT loop, INT loop, flash, pulse, storm, TV, paparazzi, candle/fire, bad bulb, firework, explosion and welding.
The Forza 720B monolight features the very common Bowens S-type reflector mount providing compatibility with a large number of light modifiers and lenses, including Nanlite's own line of Easy-Up softboxes, the Bowens mount projector, and the FL-20G Fresnel with barndoors.
The Forza 720B can run on a standard AC outlet anywhere in the world, with an AC input range of 100 to 240 VAC. It can also operate in locations without AC power available by using two 14.8V or 26V V-Mount batteries, available separately.
Similar lights from other brands are typically limited to 50% or less brightness when operating on battery power. The Forza 720B provide up to 65% output for greater brightness on location.
A USB Type-A port provides power to external devices like DMX receivers, and also acts as an interface for product firmware updates.
The yoke mount is compatible with both 5/8" baby pins and 1 & 1/8" junior pins. The yoke itself has an umbrella holder and a durable, single-sided lock for quick adjustment.
