Sennheiser MKH 8030 Figure-8 Condenser Microphone
Sennheiser MKH 8030 Figure-8 Condenser Microphone
Audio professionals can capture clear, detailed sound in almost any setting with the Sennheiser MKH 8030 Figure-8 Condenser Microphone, perfect for studio and orchestra recording, field recording, and broadcast applications. The microphone is compatible with the MZX 8000 XLR module (which is included) and the MZD 8000 digital module. It's a fantastic option for recording a duet, capturing room tones, or any situation when the maximum attenuation of nearby sound sources is needed. Blumlein arrays and Mid/Side stereo recording arrangements are excellent for the figure-8 pickup pattern.
Included are an MZW 8030 foam windshield and an MZQ 8000 mic clip. Additionally, there are two Rycote Back-to-Back microphone clips that are perfect for attaching an MKH 8040/8050 microphone to the MKH 8030 to record stereo or mid-side audio.
To capture sound as accurately as possible, the MKH 8030's unique design, which includes an amazing push-pull transducer and an inventive low-tension diaphragm, offers superior sensitivity, a wide frequency response (30 Hz to 50 kHz), extremely low inherent self-noise, wide dynamics, extremely low distortion, and a frequency-independent figure-8 polar pattern that avoids colouration.
