The 18" JBL EON718S, a 1500W powered subwoofer that can cover up to 300 people, will excite audio engineers and rental companies searching for a portable, adaptable, and easy-to-use subwoofer. The EON718S is made to operate with any full-range speaker, but it really shines when coupled with the powered PA speakers from the EON700 series. The inbuilt DSP processing offers simple settings that assist working musicians, presenters, teachers, performers, and A/V providers in fast obtaining strong, clear, and audible sound.

The subwoofer delivers 131 dB of peak SPL, which is more than enough volume for smaller venues like places of worship, concert halls, and other locations where a strong low-frequency signal is required. The 18" woofer, powered by the 1500W amplifier, produces deep, powerful bass with a frequency range of 120 Hz to 40 Hz.

Two back inputs have combo XLR-1/4" connectors, and there are two XLR pass-through outputs that you can use to connect to other speakers or audio equipment. Both channels are controlled by a single knob that adds the signals from each channel to the internal amplifier. Two EON718S subwoofers are required for genuine stereo L/R functioning, with each receiving separate left and right signals.

For storage or cardioid use, the single subwoofer can be stacked. You may raise a full-range speaker top over the subwoofer using the inbuilt M20 threaded speaker pole mount. The durable Duraflex paint on the birch plywood shell is made for long life and long-lasting durability. An LCD control module with variable crossover, parametric EQ, polarity inversion, and speaker delay is available on the rear panel. An IEC power cord is supplied with the EON718S.
