It's a good idea to have a backup plan in case something goes wrong. For optimum performance in the studio or on the go, three detachable, single-sided cables�one coiled and two straight�are supplied. For usage with mobile devices and computer soundcards, each cable has a gold-plated 3.5mm small plug. A 1/4" screw-on adapter is also supplied for simple connection to audio interfaces, mixers, and stereo receivers. The ATH-M50x comes with a carrying pouch for easy storage and transportation of the headphones.

The ATH-90� M50x's swivelling earcups guarantee a perfect fit and make one-ear monitoring simple, which is a welcome feature for DJs and singers. To save space when storing, the earcups can be folded up to meet the headband. For ease and safety while moving the headphones, a carrying pouch is provided.

Three Detachable Single-Sided Cables

The ATH-M50x features a detachable cable design that exits from the left side to increase its adaptability. This facilitates quick cable shifting and makes it easier to discern the different sides of the headset. In order to enable you select the ideal cable for sessions, travel, or home listening, three cables�a 3.9 to 9.8' coiled cable, a 9.8' straight cable, and a 3.9' straight cable�are included.

3.5mm Plug and 1/4" Screw-On Adapter

A gold-plated 3.5mm TRS small plug is used to terminate the associated cable so that it can be easily connected to headphone jacks on mobile devices, MP3 players, and computers. A secure 1/4" screw-on adapter is offered for compatibility connecting with audio interfaces, mixers, and dedicated headphone amplifiers. The chance of the connection being harmed if the cable is yanked is decreased by the 3.5mm small plug's built-in strain relief.
