The Hypercardioid Dynamic Handheld Microphone with Switch by Audio-Technica ATM610a/S is intended for live sound reinforcement and recording applications. The microphone's hypercardioid polar pattern lowers pickup of sounds from the sides and back of the microphone, making it particularly suitable for lead and backup vocals. Its dynamic circuit architecture makes use of a rare-earth magnet and offers a frequency response of 40 to 16,000 Hz. You may activate and deactivate the microphone using an included MagnaLock switch. The unit contains an integrated shockmount to reduce handling and stage noise and includes a multi-stage grill to reduce the effect of plosives and sibilance. The XLR3-M contacts on the microphone body are corrosion-resistant gold-plated and made of metal for endurance. It includes a 5/8" to 3/8" threaded adapter, an Audio-Technica Quiet-Flex stand clam for 5/8" threaded microphone stands, and a soft protective jacket. |
