The Ki Pro GO2 Multichannel H.264/H.265 Recorder/Player from AJA is a portable recorder that supports H.265 (HEVC) and H.264 (AVC) codecs and is capable of recording up to four HD or SD channels simultaneously. It can record to qualified USB drives and/or network storage with options for redundant recording to ensure data safety. The Ki Pro GO2 features four 3G-SDI and four HDMI digital video inputs, allowing flexible channel assignments and connectivity to various video sources, such as any 3G-SDI signal from a router, professional and prosumer cameras, and DSLRs. Thanks to the unit's input frame synchronizers, there is no need for genlocked video sources. Additionally, AJA's high-quality deinterlacers on each input enable progressive recordings from interlaced inputs. The recorder can assign high-quality 2-channel embedded or balanced XLR analog audio to any recording channel. Multi-Channel Matrix Monitoring allows multiple video channels to be viewed on a single HDMI or SDI display, and the Enhanced Super Out provides timecode, media status, and audio meter overlays on the SDI and HDMI monitor outputs. Designed for portability or rack mounting with half-rack width and 2 RU height dimensions, the Ki Pro GO2 is ideal for various production environments, from global concert tours to local houses of worship.
