NiSi True Colour Pro Nano CPL Filter (82mm)
The NiSi True Colour Pro Nano CPL Filter is designed to reduce glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and increase saturation and vibrancy in the sky and foliage while ensuring true colour reproduction is at its best by eliminating the warming effect many polarisers create. Our True Colour CPL removes the warm tone seen with other brands of CPL filters and provides a more accurate colour representation of the scene. The True Colour CPL features a unique two-tone frame with a silver back ring and a black front ring, both made from high-quality aluminium. NiSi’s Sure Colour CPL utilises Cine Seal technology, which blackens the edge of the CPL for added durability. This technology reduces the influence of temperature fluctuations and helps prevent condensation.
A Circular Polariser Filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarised due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. Light from the sun naturally becomes partially polarised due to reflecting off electrons in air molecules, causing it to scatter into what appears as haze. A polarising filter arranges and filters this directionally polarised light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light. This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces, an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage, and allows the camera to capture what lies beneath the surface of shallow water.
Our proprietary NiSi Pro Nano Coating reduces unwanted reflections and provides a waterproof and scratch-resistant layer to help clean unwanted fingerprints, dust, and water stains. The slimline frame of the NiSi Natural CPL is durable and tough, and a lens cap can be attached for convenience.
