The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI Distribution 4K is a compact professional SDI distribution solution that takes a single SD, HD, 3G, or 6G-SDI input and distributes it simultaneously to eight SDI outputs. The converter automatically detects the incoming SDI signal, re-clocks it for reliable signal integrity, and configures all eight outputs to match the input video format.
Using 6G-SDI technology, it supports video resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K (3840 x 2160) at 30 fps and DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 24 fps, as well as SD, HD, and 3G-SDI formats. It also supports embedded audio, ancillary data, and ASI signals, making it suitable for broadcast, post-production, live production, and professional AV environments.
Configuration is available through the built-in DIP switches or via USB using the included software for macOS and Windows. The USB connection also allows firmware updates, while the included 12V power supply with international socket adapters provides convenient operation in different regions.
