Optical Image Stabiliser (OIS)

An improved optical image stabilisation (OIS) system allows the lens to compensate for up to 4-stops of camera shake to ensure sharper images when shooting handheld, particularly in low-lighting conditions. Using the built-in OIS you can shoot still subjects needing a tripod, and capture sharp images without increasing the ISO.
