    The full-frame, creator-inspired Zf Mirrorless Camera from Nikon is the most potent model yet in its line of digital throwbacks, demonstrating once more that good fashion never goes out of style. The Zf's iconic silhouette is transformed into a contemporary and tactile shooter that uses cutting-edge technology to produce timeless imagery, even though the camera's body design harkens back to the film, steel-feel functionalism of vintage SLRs.

    The Zf's machined edges, knurled dials, and marbled texture are reminiscent of the FM2, Nikon's mechanical workhorse from the past. They are intended to immerse the user in the sensory sensation of using a beautiful machine. The shutter speed, ISO, and exposure compensation dials are made from precisely carved aluminium and include engraved markings for excellent manual control. Upon activation, the mechanical shutter clicks with a commanding sound. Additionally, there is a specific black-and-white mode with two monochromatic recipes at your fingertips.

    This logical, haptic-friendly layout extends beyond the camera's vintage-inspired buttons. The 3.2" vari-angle rear LCD screen can now be used to control the camera's electronic viewfinder, which is housed in a prism-shaped housing that is as pleasing to the bony orbit as it is to the eye. This allows the user to move focus points, choose a subject to track, and switch between display modes while keeping their eye on the viewfinder. The rear screen is front-facing and fully articulating, making it easy to navigate and use at both high and low angles.

    For all-around shooting, exceptional low-light image quality, and quick readout times to enhance continuous shooting, movies, and time-lapse recording, a 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor is used. Additionally, the sensor's back-illuminated architecture offers significantly clear high-sensitivity output for less noise while operating at high ISO numbers. A high-resolution photo mode on the Zf also combines numerous exposures to produce a single 96MP file.
