Measuring 10 cm in length, it fits the VC GY HD 200, JVC MV-P615U, Sony ECM-XM1, Sony ECM-CG1, and other compact shotgun microphones with a diameter between 1.88 and 2.18 cm, provided the mic’s slots are less than 10 cm from the tip.

Constructed from durable semi–open-cell foam, the windscreen resists flaking, cracking, and degradation over time. UV and moisture resistance help safeguard it against the elements, ensuring reliable performance indoors or outdoors. Its wide rear section helps shield the microphone from side winds, while the narrower front adds extra protection around the interference tube to maintain cleaner, more consistent audio capture.
