Equipped with a 16.35MP 1/2.3" BSI CMOS sensor, the WPZ2 delivers high-resolution stills and Full HD 1080p video with low noise and excellent sensitivity (ISO 100–3200). Quick performance enables burst shooting at up to 6 fps at full resolution and slow-motion SD 480p video recording at 120 fps.

The 4x optical zoom lens (27–108mm equivalent) covers wide-angle to short-telephoto perspectives, while 6x digital zoom extends your reach. Digital image stabilisation reduces the effects of camera shake, resulting in sharper images in handheld or low-light scenarios. A rear 2.7" 230k-dot LCD monitor allows easy framing and reviewing of your shots, and built-in Wi-Fi enables wireless sharing of photos and videos to your smartphone or tablet.

Additional features include single AF, 25-point multi-AF, face detection autofocus, face/blink/smile detection functions, 360° panorama capture mode, and a built-in flash for low-light photography.
