The NITROTECH 608 fluid video head features a continuous counterbalance system that provides precise control for camera setups up to 8 kg at a 55 mm centre of gravity. Regardless of the rig weight or tilt angle, the head maintains consistent support, making operation easier and virtually effortless. Its variable continuous fluid drag system, powered by Manfrotto’s latest fluid technology, ensures exceptionally smooth, judder-free pan and tilt movement—setting a new performance benchmark in the Manfrotto range.
For accessory mounting, the head includes a 3/8” Easy Link with an integrated anti-rotation system compatible with both Manfrotto anti-rotation arms and ARRI-pin-equipped arms, allowing secure attachment of monitors or accessories. The side-lock sliding plate mechanism offers fast, safe, and simple camera mounting. Designed with a flat base and standard 3/8" thread, the 608 head integrates seamlessly with a wide range of supports including tripods, sliders, jibs, and cranes. When paired with this system, the head connects to the tripod via a 75 mm half ball.
The MVTTWINMC carbon fibre twin-leg tripod is a professional, two-stage support system engineered for maximum rigidity and stability, ideal for demanding productions. It features a 100 mm aluminium bowl and includes an adapter to convert it to 75 mm for compatibility with the Nitrotech 608 head. The tripod incorporates a mid-level spreader with telescopic arms, enabling precise and repeatable leg angle adjustments. The spreader is detachable, allowing operation with the optional Manfrotto 165MV ground spreader for specialised setups.
