At the core of the handle is SmallRig’s patented HawkLock quick-release NATO mechanism, allowing the handle to self-lock with a single press for fast, secure mounting and removal. Its design helps redistribute lens weight for steadier handheld operation, and it does so without obstructing flip-out LCD screens—making monitoring effortless.
A 36mm (1.4") vertical adjustment range allows users to fine-tune the handle position for optimal balance. Built from durable aluminum alloy and wrapped in a cold-resistant, non-slip silicone coating, the H21 offers a reliable, weather-ready grip in any environment.
The handle includes a comprehensive set of built-in mounting points, such as 1/4"-20 threaded holes, locating holes, a wrist-strap hole, and an H18 quick-release cold shoe mount for fast accessory swapping.
