The system integrates your Mac Studio within a compact 3U rackmount chassis, providing Echo III PCIe expansion for non-GPU Thunderbolt-compatible cards. Versatile PCIe Card Expansion

The Echo III Module provides substantial flexibility for creative professionals requiring PCIe connectivity. It supports:

• One full-length, full-height, double-width PCIe card and one single-width card, or

• Three full-length, full-height, single-width cards.

Compatible with a wide range of Thunderbolt-compatible non-GPU PCIe cards, it’s perfectly suited for expansion cards used in workflows such as:

400W of Integrated Power

An internal 400W power supply delivers ample headroom for power-hungry PCIe cards. The enclosure powers on and off automatically with the connected Mac Studio, ensuring synchronized startup and shutdown behavior without manual intervention.

Quiet and Efficient Cooling

The xMac Studio maintains optimal performance with dual temperature-controlled Noctua fans rated at 17 dBA, providing variable-speed, whisper-quiet operation. These fans deliver efficient airflow across all installed components, protecting your investment under continuous load.

High-Speed Thunderbolt 3 Connectivity

Connect the xMac Studio to your Mac Studio using two Thunderbolt 3 ports, offering up to 2800 MB/s bandwidth to installed PCIe cards.
Additional ports include:

• 4× USB-A for external peripherals

• 2× USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) for direct Thunderbolt expansion

This configuration ensures maximum flexibility for professional interfaces, external drives, and other high-bandwidth devices.
