You can record onto more compact and affordable media because it has a slot for a single CFast 2.0 Type I card.

    The adapter supports high-performance video recording in various formats, including ProRes and Avid DNx up to DCI 4K60 resolutions and ProRes RAW up to 6K30 or 4K120 resolutions. The adapter connects to the monitor with a SATA interface and is also compatible with the optional Angelbird USB Type-C-to-SATA adapter when you need to offload your footage.
