    Blackmagic Design PYXIS Monitor

Specifically made for the Blackmagic PYXIS camera, the PYXIS Monitor from Blackmagic Design is a multipurpose, highly bright monitor. It serves as much more than simply an external display; thanks to its touchscreen interface, it can be used as a powerful camera extension that gives users control over all camera capabilities. The monitor has several mounting points that make it simple to install it on a rig for better framing and focusing or to quickly attach it to the camera as a giant viewfinder. The PYXIS Monitor's 5" LCD touchscreen makes it perfect for use as a viewfinder for closer focus and framing. A clip-on sunshade is included to make viewing easier in solid light or during the day.

The Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor, which matches the style of the Blackmagic PYXIS and Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras, is made for professional use and is composed of sturdy machined metal. Even in situations where direct sunlight is present, your crew can easily monitor shots from any position on the set thanks to the versatile monitor's 5" LCD touchscreen, which boasts a brightness of 1500 cd/m². Additionally, the monitor's detachable sunshade provides additional protection and convenience. During recording, a brilliant tally light is visible from a distance, and the monitor has three programmable buttons for instant access to functions like focus aid, false colour, and zebra that are made for simple tactile navigation.

The display and camera are connected by a USB-C cable that handles power, video, and camera control. A secure connection is guaranteed by locking screws on both ends of the cable. Users can access all camera operations, including Blackmagic PYXIS menus, settings, metadata, and digital slate information, straight from the monitor using the HDR touchscreen. It is also possible to import custom 3D LUTs for sophisticated cinematic operations. The Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor is made for flexible mounting; it is compatible with industry-standard 1/4"-20 mounting and functions flawlessly with Blackmagic PYXIS cameras with cages and rails installed. Complete monitoring and camera control are made possible even when the camera is out of reach, thanks to the single USB connection, which enables off-camera mounting on other equipment like cranes or gimbals.
