Power your Canon EOS R5 C cinema/photo camera using an external power supply with this DR-E6C DC Coupler from Canon. The unique nature of the R5 C being a photo + cinema video camera in one requires a slightly different power supply method in order to power the video side of the camera when recording footage using high frame rates such as 8K60 RAW.
The coupler allows you to power the camera directly using a compatible power source, but it will only power the high-resolution video side of the camera without the addition of an optional power adapter such as the Canon CA-946, or by using the optional Anton Bauer P-Tap to Canon 9V connector and a professional battery source such as the Anker 26800mAh power bank or a Gold mount or V-mount pack.
