The Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini Quad SDI to SDI 12G Converter allows you to connect Quad-Link SDI sources to 12G-SDI equipment, providing a flexible solution for studio, broadcast and post-production workflows. Its compact, low-profile black enclosure is designed to integrate neatly into professional environments without taking up unnecessary space.

Supporting Quad-Link and 12G-SDI protocols, the converter handles high-resolution DCI and UHD 4K, as well as HD and SD video signals. Automatic input signal detection identifies the incoming video resolution and configures the input accordingly, simplifying setup and operation. The unit also supports 24-bit, 48 kHz broadcast-quality embedded audio.

Control and configuration can be performed remotely by connecting the converter via Ethernet and using the included control software. For additional convenience, a front-panel controller with an integrated confidence monitor is available separately, while DIP switch controls are accessible behind the front-panel flap.
