Designed for handheld, tripod, and gimbal workflows, this modular system provides a complete mounting solution that enhances both usability and production flexibility.
At its core is the Tilta Full Camera Cage V2, which delivers lightweight aluminium protection while maintaining full access to camera controls. The cage features a removable NATO top plate, allowing compatibility with the original Sony XLR top handle or the included NATO top handle. Its modular design supports both full-cage and reduced half-cage configurations, making it suitable for everything from handheld shooting to gimbal-mounted setups.
Multiple accessory mounting points are integrated throughout the cage, including a NATO rail, cold shoe mount, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads. A built-in Arca-style base enables quick transitions between tripods and compatible gimbals, while the included HDMI clamp helps secure cables during active shooting.
The included Tilta Modular 15mm LWS Baseplate Type III expands rigging options further, offering a removable Arca receiver, multiple mounting threads, and dual 15mm rod support. This allows integration of essential cinema accessories such as follow focus motors, matte boxes, and battery plates. The baseplate is also compatible with Tilta dovetail systems for fast setup and breakdown.
Completing the kit are two 7.8" 15mm aluminium rods, providing a solid foundation for rod-based accessories and ensuring compatibility with standard LWS and studio support systems.
