The Film Devices Microphone Travel Boompole Kit provides on-location recordists who are always on the move with everything they need to hold up a boom mike. The pole, which weighs only 700g and is made of sturdy aluminium, is small. It can be easily packed in carry-on luggage because it folds to a size of 50cm.
Boompole's maximum extendable length when in use is 170cm. The pole has a 1/4"-20 male thread and a 3/8"-16 threaded adaptor to fit typical microphone shock mounts. A grip head and a boom holder are included with the boompole.
