Manfrotto MDEVE 755XB Video Tripod

I don't use this item for photography, I bought it for video use with my XF300, XF200 and Canon 7D MKII using a Manfrotto 502HD fluid head.Head fits on easy. The adjustable ball makes leveling a breeze, slighly heavy with the head on it but that's why I got it as it's very well made.Wouldn't hesitate recommending it to a friend as it easily holds the XF300 which is 3.5kgs so no problem with bogger camcorders.Legs are thick and strong which resist twisting very well, you won't be dissapointed by these legs :)

This is a great and very stable tripod from Manfrotto. The built-in levelling ball is handy when you want to level your tripod fast without adjust leg height.

Its a great looking tripod with lots of practical use. Plus its relatively cheap!

I bought this product on recommendationd from web forums as I wanted a good solid and sturdy tripod.It's ideal for time lapse where you dont want tripod vibrations. The built-in 50mm leveling ball for rapid set up is simply a must, it's so handy and is the reason I went for this model.It is a bit heavy to carry after awhile and I wish it came with a carry bag,but the carbon equivalent is too expensive.

When coupled with the smaller Manfrotto Video fluid Head MV500AH you get the perfect balance between sturdiness and portability. The miniturisation of the levelling ball into an adjustable central column gives greater ease of control than the fixed levelling ball style of the big Cinema tripods. I used a Miller the week before buying this and it gives me the support of the Miller but was so easy to carry that I wouldnt go back. Whether it will handle a heavily accessorised DSLR and keep the level of sturdiness I have experienced so far I cannot say. However I suspect that I could add a large lens, mic pre-mixer and mini-monitor to my Canon 5D without any issue.
