Insta360 PT-20 Invisible Mic Cold Shoe for ONE X3/X2 & Rode Wireless GO Mic
To keep the Rode Wireless GO clip-on mic receiver off the side of the One X3 or One X2 camera and out of the way of the lens, Insta360 created the Invisible Mic Cold Shoe. It requires no screws or additional hardware because it is made to fit between the camera and a selfie stick.
Place your selfie stick, small tripod, or other support on the bottom of the camera, directly beneath the 1/4"-20 mounting hole, and then screw it in. The GO mic receiver can then be attached to and removed from the bracket with ease. Moreover, a little audio connection is provided to link the camera's microphone receiver to it.
