K&M 149/9 Heavy Duty Trombone Stand

I needed a more robust trombone stand for my newly-acquired bass trombone. I'd had a couple of near-accidents when the heavy bass had overturned my regular stand - it only needed the merest touch to do that. The K&M stand:- is robustly constructed - has feet spread wide so that it is stable even with a big instrument on it - positively locates the instrument in a vertical position (as long as you jiggle the instrument a bit to make sure it sits down properly on the stand) - fits easily in my kit bag so that I can use it at rehearsals and performances as well as at home - is not perceptibly heavier than other stands.The only slight negative is the need to make sure the trombone is sitting down properly on the stand.
