The black Sanken COS-11D Omni Lavalier Microphone, Phantom Only with XLR Connector is a subminiature lavalier microphone designed to deliver clear, natural, full-bodied sound in a discreet package. The microphone features a unique vertically oriented capsule design that increases the surface area of the diaphragm, helping the compact microphone produce a rich and natural sound. Its 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response provides transparent audio reproduction with a subtle presence boost around 6 kHz for crisp, intelligible speech, while the omnidirectional polar pattern maintains consistent pickup even when the subject turns away from the microphone.

RF shielding helps minimise interference for a clean audio signal, while the water-resistant mesh screen protects the capsule from humidity, perspiration, makeup, and adverse weather conditions.
