Its 11-blade iris produces soft, cinematic bokeh, and the lens minimizes focus breathing for smooth and easy focus pulls. The focus ring offers full-time manual override, and the iris ring can be manually adjusted during changing conditions on your video shoots.

This lens is equipped with a Voice Coil Motor (VCM) for fast floating rear focus and a Nano USM for quick and quiet floating autofocus. Its optical design features specially developed elements that nearly eliminate chromatic aberrations and color fringing, ensuring notable clarity and color accuracy. Additionally, it includes two ultra-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements to control various aberrations and distortion, resulting in exceptional sharpness and resolution. The lens’s durable construction is dust- and moisture-sealed and features ASC (Air Sphere Coating), SSC (Super Spectra Coating), and Fluorine coatings to prevent ghosting and flares, making it suitable for use in any environment.
