The Blackmagic Design Videohub Mini 6x2 12G Router is a powerful, compact solution that brings professional-grade routing flexibility to live production environments. Ideal for flypacks, studios, or mobile broadcast setups, it also features a front 12G-SDI input, a 12G-SDI output, and a USB-C webcam output, giving users the ability to patch in emergency sources or stream directly from their computer without reconfiguring backend connections.
Designed to simplify complex cabling scenarios, the Videohub Mini 6x2 is perfect for expanding inputs to ATEM switchers, streaming encoders, HyperDeck recorders, or monitors. It allows users to make input and output changes without physically repatching cables, making it an essential tool for fast-paced broadcast environments. The front panel features a clean, intuitive control layout with dedicated buttons and a rotary knob for fast cut-bus-style switching. At the same time, Ethernet connectivity enables whole remote operation or automation.
Supporting all SD, HD, and Ultra HD video formats up to 2160p60, the Videohub Mini leverages advanced 12G-SDI multirate technology to work with SD, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI equipment. It can route different formats simultaneously across inputs and outputs, adapting automatically to the required standard. Each output features a dedicated clean switch function, ensuring smooth transitions between sources. With dedicated reference input/output ports, clean switching can be precisely locked to a Blackburst or Tri-sync signal.
Signal reliability is further enhanced with full SDI re-clocking on every input. This ensures that long cable runs or high-bandwidth connections maintain optimal signal quality without jitter or data loss. For emergencies or quick additions, the front panel 12G-SDI input overrides the highest-numbered rear input, while the front SDI output mirrors the last output port—ideal for dynamic changes on set or during live events.
