The NiSi 4 x 5.65" Allure Mist White Cinema 1/8 Filter can be applied to create the appearance of mist in an image. Contrast is lowered as flared highlights within a frame are softened, helping to balance the tonal range among highlights and shadows.
This filter is constructed from optical glass, is compatible with filter holders that can accommodate 4mm-thick rectangular filters, and has a grade of 1/8. Grades of 1/4, 1/2, and 1 are also available. This filter type's effect becomes approximately twice as strong with each grade number increase.
