Designed for modest live stages, mobile PA systems, rehearsal spaces, and home entertainment setups, the Behringer EPQ304 is a compact 4-channel power amplifier delivering up to 75W per channel at 4 Ohms and 50W per channel at 8 Ohms. Combining efficient Class-D amplification, Accelerated Transient Response (ATR) technology, comprehensive protection circuitry, and flexible connectivity, the EPQ304 delivers reliable performance in a compact 1 RU rackmount design.

Behringer's Accelerated Transient Response (ATR) technology is designed to provide the high-current and high-voltage response needed to reproduce demanding bass transients. By using high-slew-rate transistors and optimised circuitry, the amplifier responds quickly to sudden changes in the audio signal, helping deliver tighter, clearer, and more natural low-frequency reproduction.

The EPQ304 also uses an efficient rail-tracking design and switching-mode power supply to reduce power consumption, operating temperature, and overall weight compared with traditional amplifier designs. This makes it easier to integrate into portable PA systems while still providing up to 300W of total output power.

Operation is straightforward, with positive-detent gain controls for precise adjustments, Signal LEDs for monitoring input activity, and Clip LEDs to indicate when the signal level should be reduced. Each channel includes a switchable limiter to help protect connected equipment and prevent excessive signal peaks.

Flexible connectivity includes balanced or unbalanced combo XLR-1/4" TRS inputs and professional locking speakON speaker outputs. The rear-panel mode switches allow channels 1/2 and 3/4 to operate in Mono, Stereo, or Bridge mode, providing additional flexibility when configuring your sound system. A rugged all-steel chassis and built-in rack support allow the 1 RU EPQ304 to fit neatly into standard equipment racks while standing up to the demands of mobile use.
