Packed with broadcast-friendly features, Sony’s PXW-Z300 3-CMOS XDCAM Camcorder uses a 1/2"-type 3-CMOS sensor system to capture up to UHD 4K60 video. 4K Exmor R CMOS Sensors and BIONZ XR Processing
The PXW-Z300 pairs three 4K Exmor R CMOS sensors with Sony’s powerful BIONZ XR image processor to deliver finely detailed, lifelike images with excellent color reproduction, deep depth of field, and exceptionally low noise performance.

17x Zoom Lens with Advanced Control
The integrated 17x optical zoom lens covers a versatile 30.3 to 515mm (35mm equivalent) range with a bright f/1.9 maximum aperture. A digital extender provides 2x, 3x, or 4x magnification in HD and 1.5x in UHD 4K. Independent focus, iris, and zoom rings allow intuitive manual operation, with a sliding focus ring enabling quick switching between autofocus and full manual focus.

Advanced AI Autofocus and Image Stabilization
A dedicated AI processing unit enables advanced subject-recognition autofocus, accurately tracking people even when they are backlit, distant, partially obscured, or facing away from the camera. Built-in optical image stabilization helps reduce camera shake during handheld shooting.

Look Matching and Color Flexibility
Support for S-Cinetone, ITU709, and 709tone presets ensures easy SDR matching with other Sony cameras, while HLG Live, HLG Mild, and HLG Natural presets simplify HDR workflows. Custom 3D LUT import is also supported for creating tailored looks.

Versatile Recording, Streaming, and Connectivity
Dual media slots, Picture Cache, Interval Recording, and Slow & Quick Motion provide flexible capture options across UHD 4K and HD formats. The PXW-Z300 supports MXF MPEG HD422, XAVC Intra, XAVC Long, and proxy MP4 recording, along with RTMP/RTMPS and SRT live streaming. Comprehensive connectivity includes 12G-SDI, HDMI, timecode, genlock, LAN, USB-C, and remote control interfaces.
