The Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro G2 is a professional PCIe capture and playback card designed for high-resolution, high-frame-rate workflows in feature film, broadcast, and post-production environments. Supporting 8K, 4K, UHD, HD, and SD standards, this versatile card delivers four bidirectional 12G-SDI connections, one HDMI 2.1 input, and one HDMI 2.1 output, making it an ideal solution for multi-channel capture and playback. Using the free DeckLink SDK, users can configure up to four simultaneous video streams in any direction, format, or frame rate up to DCI 4K60, enabling true multi-stream workflows.

The DeckLink 8K Pro G2 supports 8- and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 as well as 10- and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 with full Rec. 2020 colour, delivering rich, high-fidelity visuals. The card handles frame rates of up to 120 fps in HD and 4K, and up to 60 fps in 8K, with each 12G-SDI connection supporting up to 64 channels of embedded audio. Designed for compatibility with 8- and 16-lane PCI Express slots on macOS, Windows, and Linux, the card requires two PCI slots and a power connection to the computer. Its high-resolution capabilities make it perfect for HDR workflows, high-frame-rate capture, and next-generation video production.
