Designed for demanding field productions, the BenQ PVS7 7″ High-Bright On-Camera Monitor delivers a crisp, colour-accurate Full HD display and a host of pro-level monitoring tools in a rugged, portable build. Featuring a 1920 x 1200 IPS LCD touchscreen with a pixel density of 323 ppi and a 16:10 aspect ratio, this monitor ensures precise framing and critical focus both indoors and in direct sunlight. With a peak brightness of 2000 cd/m², it offers excellent outdoor visibility, supported by a 1200:1 contrast ratio and Rec.709 colour gamut compliance for accurate, out-of-the-box colour reproduction.
The PVS7 features both HDMI and 3G-SDI input and output, making it highly compatible with a wide range of cameras and workflows. Whether you're capturing content for social media, film, or commercial use, it supports 3D LUTs via a microSD card slot, allowing real-time previewing of your creative look on set. It also comes packed with advanced image tools such as waveform, vectorscope, false colour, zebra, focus peaking, anamorphic desqueeze, and more, helping you maintain precise control over exposure, framing, and focus.
Durability is key in the field, and the PVS7 is designed to withstand the test of time. It features reinforced edges with a drop-tested design up to 1.5 metres, and ships with a protective cage that not only enhances structural integrity but also offers multiple mounting threads for accessories. A two-way sun hood is also included, allowing both horizontal and vertical use, and ensuring visibility by blocking glare and reflections in bright environments.
The display features an antireflective coating that reduces reflections by up to 5%, complemented by a 6H hardness rating for enhanced scratch resistance. Despite its performance, the monitor features a fanless, low-power design, making it an ideal choice for quiet production environments, such as ASMR shoots or interviews, where noise must be kept to a minimum.
