The Aputure STORM 1200x Cine Kit is a premium, all-in-one lighting solution for professional filmmakers and demanding set environments. Centred around the STORM 1200x Bi-Colour LED Monolight, this kit delivers exceptional full-spectrum output, versatile colour control, and rugged reliability, bundled with the CF12 Fresnel, CF12 barndoors, and a durable skid support for maximum performance and flexibility on set.

At its core, the STORM 1200x introduces Aputure’s groundbreaking BLAIR chipset, featuring an advanced LED mix of blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red. This full-spectrum design achieves stunning brightness, with up to 202,500 lux at 1m using the included 45° reflector, and professional-grade colour accuracy, boasting 95 CRI and TLCI and 87 SSI at 3200K and 5600 K. The light offers a wide CCT range of 2500–10,000K, with green-magenta adjustment for precise white-point control.

The included controller unit supports step-less dimming from 0.1% to 100% and enables flicker-free performance at all output levels. Multiple control options, including DMX, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net, sACN Ethernet, and Bluetooth via the Sidus Link and Sidus Link Pro apps, seamlessly integrate the STORM 1200x into modern lighting ecosystems.

Built to endure, the fixture is IP65-rated for dust and weather resistance, with a universal Bowens S mount for compatibility with a wide range of modifiers. The kit’s CF12 Fresnel lens enhances the output up to 60,000 lux at 3200K, allowing smooth beam control from a 15° spot to a 45° flood. Paired with the eight-leaf CF12 barndoors, users can precisely shape and cut the light as needed.

To complete the system, the included Aputure Skid provides a solid ground-based mounting solution, allowing safe and stable placement of the STORM 1200x with its attached accessories.
