The SmallRig RC 100C COB LED Monolight with Battery Grip is a highly portable and powerful lighting solution designed for creators and vloggers on the go. Weighing just 726 grams (1.6 lb) and featuring a compact, palm-sized design, it delivers bright, variable bi-colour output ranging from 2500K to 10,000K. Ideal for both video recording and photography, the RC 100C offers remarkable flexibility with intuitive onboard controls, multiple power options, and a host of creative lighting effects. With the included 45° mini reflector, it produces up to 11,000 lux at a distance of 1 metre (3.3'), while the bare light itself outputs 3650 lux. The SH73 battery grip handle included in the kit features a V-mount battery plate, offering up to 45 minutes of runtime at maximum power. Additionally, it supports USB-C and D-Tap inputs, providing outputs of up to 140w and 168w, respectively. The RC 100C can be powered via an optional AC to DC adapter, USB-C PD charging, or V-mount/NP-F batteries (batteries not included).

Offering impressive colour accuracy with a CRI of 96+, TLCI of 98+, and SSI of 84 (3200K), the RC 100C ensures faithful colour rendering for professional results. It features 12 lighting effects, four custom presets, and supports HSI, RGBCW, and GEL modes, unlocking more than 36,000 colour options. A 3.5cm (1.4") LCD colour screen allows users to monitor settings easily, with two independent knobs providing quick, precise control over brightness and colour temperature. For added convenience, the light is compatible with wireless control via the SmallGoGo app and supports DMX control using an optional DMX adapter.

The RC 100C benefits from SmallRig’s independently developed cooling system, ensuring efficient and reliable operation even during extended use. Built from V-0 flame-retardant PC and ABS materials with a reinforced metal base, the light is robust yet lightweight, reducing weight by 30% compared to aluminium alternatives. It is also compatible with SmallRig’s mini mount modifiers and, via the included Bowens mount adapter, supports a wide range of Bowens accessories such as the RA-D30, RA-D60, and RA-R4545 softboxes. The kit comprises the RC 100C light, SH73 battery grip, Bowens mount adapter, USB-C cable, and a convenient carrying bag for easy transport and storage.
