Designed as a wired companion to the Ninja TX and Ninja TX GO, the Atomos Ninja RAW 5.2" HDMI Monitor/Recorder is a compact, high-performance on-camera monitor and recorder built for professional productions and advanced content creators. It combines a bright 1500 cd/m² touchscreen display, HDMI 2.0 input/output, integrated ProRes RAW/DNx/H.265 codecs, CFexpress Type B and USB-C recording, tally light functionality, and optional NDI/HX3 and Camera-to-Cloud workflows via USB-C networking.

5.2" High-Brightness Touchscreen Display

The 5.2" IPS touchscreen features a 1920 × 1080 resolution and a daylight-viewable 1500 cd/m² brightness output for accurate monitoring in virtually any lighting environment. With 8/10-bit color processing, HDR (HLG) support, and 100% Rec. 709 coverage, the Ninja RAW ensures faithful color reproduction on set.

It also supports Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus calibration for consistent, professional color accuracy across workflows.

Comprehensive Color & Metadata Support

The Ninja RAW supports log formats from major manufacturers including Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon. Users can upload custom 3D LUTs and output HDR conversions to:

• PQ

• Dolby Vision

RAW metadata such as white balance, exposure index, shutter speed/angle, iris (f-stop), ISO, gamma, and gamut are preserved for full post-production flexibility.

A loop-through HDMI output passes the incoming signal to external monitors, wireless transmitters, or live streaming encoders, enabling flexible on-set routing.
