The ikan Professional 15" SDI Teleprompter Travel Kit with Widescreen Tally Monitor is designed for quick and easy setup in studio or broadcast applications to film professional scripted content. The durable aluminum teleprompter includes a 15" widescreen monitor, 65/35 beamsplitter glass, an adjustable lens hood, and an improved base for better balancing. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the teleprompter makes mounting it to a tripod or pedestal a breeze. HDMI, SDI, and VGA video inputs are compatible with most video equipment.
65/35 Beamsplitter Glass
The included beamsplitter glass features a front mirror coating with 65% transmission and 35% reflection along with an anti-reflection coating on the rear to prevent ghosting. This ensures clear, color-neutral images for the camera and easy-to-read text for the presenter. The component is 3mm thick and constructed of optical-grade glass.
Wide Camera Compatibility
Included with the teleprompter are three different camera mount bases in varying heights for compatibility with professional ENG cameras, cinema cameras, mirrorless cameras, and camcorders. The tall riser measures 13.5cm, the short riser measures 5cm, and the DSLR riser measures 16cm.
Versatile Monitor
The monitor features HDMI, SDI, and VGA video inputs. Its native resolution is 1920 x 1080 and its maximum brightness is 1000 cd/m². Use the OSD adjustment to view and change settings like brightness, contrast, backlight, tint, chroma, and sharpness. You can also adjust the intensity of the RGB. The native aspect ratio for the monitor is 16:9, but you can adjust it to be 4:3, full, or to automatically detect the ratio and set it accordingly. A 178° wide viewing angle ensures your talent can view the text from virtually anywhere. An image flip button allows you to horizontally or vertically flip the image. When plugged into a video switcher, two tally lights on the side and front of the monitor turn either green or red to indicate whether or not the camera is live.
Easy to Balance
The upgraded teleprompter base includes a rail to slide the entire rig forwards or backwards. This makes balancing more intuitive and does not require counterweights.
Updated Lens Hood
The new version of the adjustable lens hood is anchored to the frame and secured with magnets for extra stability. It is also designed to accommodate larger lenses thanks to its wider opening.
ikan Rolling Hard Case for Teleprompter
Protect you teleprompter with this black ikan Rolling Hard Case for PT4500/PT4700/PT4900 Teleprompter, which is manufactured for ikan by SKB. This iSeries case features an empty interior that fits the foam that is included with either the PT4500, PT4700, or PT4900. This allows you to pack your teleprompter in the same foam and in the same manner that they were originally shipped to you. This impact-resistant case is made from injection-molded polypropylene copolymer resin to be resistant to UV radiation, solvents, corrosion, and fungi according to MIL-STD-810F standards. It is IP67-rated and gasket-sealed to make it dustproof and temporarily submersible.
Molded-in hinges, patented trigger-release latches, and padlock holes with stainless-steel protector clips add to the security of the case. Three rubber overmolded cushion grip handles snap into vertical/horizontal position for convenient carrying options. An integrated pull handle slides out of the back of the case, and integrated wheels allow it to be pulled along the ground when the case is packed. A built-in automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C) allows for safe air travel. The case is made in the USA.
