Built to Pelican’s rigorous standards, the 1505 Air is waterproof, crushproof, and dustproof, achieving full IP67 and MIL-SPEC certification. Constructed from Pelican’s proprietary HPX² polymer, the case is up to 40% lighter than traditional injection-molded designs—without sacrificing durability.
Additional protective features include Press and Pull latches for secure closure, stainless steel padlock protectors, and an automatic pressure equalization valve that balances internal pressure and prevents moisture ingress. A fold-down over-molded handle ensures comfortable handheld transport, and a waterproof O-ring seal enhances the overall environmental resistance.
