The SmallRig Cage for Canon EOS R1 5413 enhances protection, handling, and expandability while preserving full access and functionality of the camera. Designed with an integrated full-cover construction specifically for the EOS R1, the cage wraps securely around the body for comprehensive protection without blocking buttons or interfering with intuitive operation.
A three-point locking system—featuring a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and dual side locating blocks—keeps the camera firmly in place and eliminates unwanted movement or deflection during use. Internal silicone pads safeguard the R1 from scratches and abrasions.
For efficient rigging, Arca-Swiss quick release plates are built into both the bottom and left sides, enabling seamless compatibility with Arca-type tripod heads (ID 4059). The bottom plate also supports direct mounting to DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals, allowing fast transitions between landscape and portrait orientations without tools.
The included detachable cold shoe mount provides horizontal cold shoe positioning in both shooting orientations, ensuring flexible accessory placement.
