The RODECaster Video Core is a powerful all-in-one video and audio production console designed to deliver professional broadcast results in a streamlined, flexible format. Built for software-based control or as part of a modular ecosystem using RØDECaster Sync, it brings the advanced capabilities of the RØDECaster Video into a compact core unit suited to studios, live streamers, and video podcasters.

At its heart is a high-performance octa-core CPU handling both video switching and audio processing, allowing you to seamlessly switch between up to four video sources and five fully customisable scenes. The unit features three Full HD (1080p) HDMI inputs with automatic frame rate conversion and one configurable HDMI output for program, preview, or multi-view monitoring.

Two flexible USB-C ports support select video and audio devices, while dual USB-C audio interfaces enable simultaneous connection to two computers or mobile devices. You can also connect an external SSD via USB for direct recording or output via UVC to a computer.

Professional audio is fully integrated, with two studio-grade Neutrik combo inputs featuring ultra-low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamps. Advanced onboard APHEX processing includes EQ, compressor, noise gate, high-pass filter, de-esser, and renowned Aural Exciter, Big Bottom, and Compellor effects, delivering polished, broadcast-quality sound without external processors.

For expanded production workflows, the Video Core integrates seamlessly with the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo via RØDECaster Sync, creating a fully unified video and audio production system with additional inputs, outputs, and tactile control.

Network-based production is supported with up to four NDI inputs and one NDI output via Ethernet, including PTZ camera control. Dual-camera streaming is available using the free RØDE Capture app for iOS devices. Intelligent auto-switching allows hands-free transitions between sources and scenes based on active audio inputs.

The RØDECaster App provides deep control over media playback, transitions, keying, multi-source scenes, graphic overlays, audio mixing, remote control, custom scene building, and advanced configuration. You can stream directly to major platforms via Ethernet and record directly to external USB storage, including isolated (ISO) recording for maximum flexibility in post-production.
