The Sennheiser EW-DX SKM-S is a professional digital handheld wireless transmitter designed for use with Sennheiser EW-DX wireless receivers. Ideal for live performances, presentations, conferences and professional events, it delivers reliable wireless audio with excellent dynamic range and flexible microphone capsule options. Supplied without a microphone capsule, it allows you to choose a compatible interchangeable capsule to suit your vocal requirements and application.

Featuring an impressive 134 dB input dynamic range, the EW-DX SKM-S can handle everything from quieter speech to powerful vocals without requiring constant gain adjustments. A trim control provides additional level adjustment for group performances, while the programmable mute switch can be locked or remotely overridden through a compatible receiver or mobile device.

The transmitter features an e-Ink display for easy identification and parameter viewing, even when powered off. Bluetooth pairing enables quick and convenient synchronisation with compatible receivers, while its rugged all-metal housing provides the durability required for demanding professional environments.

For flexible power options, the EW-DX SKM-S operates for up to 8 hours on two AA batteries or up to 12 hours with the optional BA 70 lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack. It also supports in-transmitter charging with the optional CHG 70N network charging dock.

Designed for scalable professional wireless systems, EW-DX uses an equidistant tuning grid to help minimise intermodulation issues in multi-transmitter environments. Compatible system configurations can support up to 146 channels in equidistant tuning grid mode or up to 293 channels in Link Density mode, depending on the system setup and operating conditions.
