The Sonos Beam Ultra Soundbar is a compact, low-profile soundbar designed to deliver an immersive 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos listening experience for your TV, movies, music and more. Its upgraded acoustic architecture creates a wider soundstage, improved bass response, and clearer separation, while nine separately amplified drivers—including dedicated upfiring channels—surround you with sound from multiple directions.

Inside, four low-profile woofers provide powerful bass, while five tweeters reproduce detailed mid and high frequencies. A forward-firing centre tweeter creates a smooth, focused centre image, while side-firing horn-loaded tweeters enhance stereo separation. Two upward-firing tweeters use directional horns to help create the overhead effects required for a more immersive Dolby Atmos experience.

With Trueplay EQ, the Beam Ultra can analyse your room's acoustics using its built-in microphones and automatically adjust its sound profile to match the environment. Whether positioned on furniture or mounted to a wall, Trueplay helps optimise the sound for your particular setup and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

The Beam Ultra also features AI-powered Speech Enhancement to make dialogue easier to understand. Its software detects human voices and enhances speech clarity, helping conversations remain intelligible during loud action scenes or in noisy environments. You can select four levels of speech enhancement through the Sonos app.

Beyond TV and movies, the Beam Ultra delivers detailed sound for music, podcasts, audiobooks, and radio. Through the Sonos app, you can access compatible streaming services and enjoy room-filling stereo sound with clarity and depth.

Control is flexible and convenient, with support for your TV remote, the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and voice control. Capacitive touch controls on the soundbar provide access to playback, volume, skipping, replay, voice assistant controls and grouping or ungrouping with other Sonos products.

As part of the Sonos ecosystem, you can expand the Beam Ultra over time. Add a compatible Sonos subwoofer for deeper bass or a pair of surround speakers for a more immersive home theatre setup. Software updates can also introduce new features and performance improvements over time, helping your soundbar stay up to date.

The Beam Ultra is wall-mountable with an optional mount and supports HDMI CEC for convenient control with compatible equipment. Additional sound adjustments, including bass, treble and loudness, are available through the Sonos app, while Night Sound reduces the intensity of loud sounds and enhances quieter sounds for more comfortable late-night viewing. Dolby Atmos performance requires compatible Dolby Atmos content.
