The Amaran COB 200x S Bi-Colour LED Monolight builds upon the success of its predecessor with a refined all-in-one design and an upgraded LED chipset, delivering professional-grade performance in a lightweight and portable form. Offering a powerful 200W output, this bi-colour fixture provides variable colour temperature from 2700K to 6500K. It boasts outstanding colour accuracy, making it ideal for filmmakers, photographers, and content creators who demand consistent and faithful lighting.

With ultra-high SSI ratings of 90 (Tungsten) and 89 (D56), the 200x S ensures exceptional colour fidelity. Additional colour metrics, including CRI 95, TLCI 98, CQS 97, and TM-30 Rf 97/Rg 101, make this fixture a reliable tool for achieving accurate skin tones and true-to-life hues in any environment. Whether shooting in a controlled studio or out on location, the light’s improved spectral continuity enhances visual realism.

The 200x S emits 6400 lux at 1m (5600K) bare, and up to 45,400 lux with the included hyper reflector, offering both punchy output and beautifully diffused lighting when needed. Built-in special effects—including paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulse, strobe, explosion, and fire—add creative flexibility straight out of the box.

Weighing just 1.56 kg (3.44 lb), the monolight features a full-size Bowens mount for wide compatibility with popular modifiers such as the Aputure Light Dome Mini II and Lantern. It also includes an umbrella mount and a 3m power cable, offering practical versatility in compact setups.

Stepless dimming from 0 to 100% with 1% precision increments allows users to fine-tune their lighting with complete control. Adjust settings directly via the intuitive LCD display and onboard controls, or use the Sidus Link app for wireless operation up to 100 metres away—ideal for multi-light setups or remote workflows.

The unit operates on universal AC power (100–240V). For locations without mains access, it supports optional V-mount or Gold Mount batteries via the separately available 2-Bay Battery Power Station, ensuring uninterrupted operation wherever your shoot takes you.
