Shure GLXD+FM Dual-Band Wireless Frequency Manager for GLX-D+ Wireless
The GLXD+FM from Shure increases the available channel count for GLX-D+ wireless systems, allowing you to operate more microphones in the same space. It can be used to provide rock-solid RF performance and frequency management when operating multiple wireless receivers for live events, theater performances, conferences, and other sound reinforcement applications.
The rackmount Frequency Manager system increases channel count and reduces the number of required antennas and power supplies when using multiple GLXD4R+ receivers simultaneously. It's dual-band technology coordinates receiver scans of both the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz spectrums, choosing the one with the largest number of clean frequencies.
Additionally, the wireless receivers can operate in the most spectrally efficient manner. If there is interference, the system automatically transitions to backup frequencies. The unit pools the backup frequencies from all the connected receivers together, so they can be deployed to any of the receivers instantly as needed without dropouts. The GLXD+FM provides power for up to six GLXD4R+ receivers, which eliminates the need for power strips or multiple outlets. Cascade up to two additional frequency managers for a total of 16 channels at the same time.
Provides advanced automatic frequency management to a linked receiver community for improved RF performance and increased channel countDual-band technology coordinates GLXD4R+ receiver scans of the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz RF environmentGuarantees use of the clearest possible transmission and backup frequenciesLinks multiple GLXD4R+ receivers via RF ports for traditional antenna distributionAllows for remote mounting of antennas in optimal locations for increased signal stabilityLink up to six GLXD4R+ receivers on a single frequency managerCascade up to 2 additional frequency managers and use up to 11 GLXD4R+ receivers in typical application environments (up to 16 under optimal conditions).Uses data communication via RF cables to create and manage the receiver communityBidirectional communication link enables transmitters to follow receiver frequency changes automaticallyIdentifies and assigns optimal frequencies to receiver and transmitter pairsIn case of interference, automatically and seamlessly transitions to backup frequenciesProvides power to the GLXD4R+ receivers, eliminating need for power strips or multiple outletsOperates in the globally unlicensed 2.4 and 5.8 GHz frequency bands
