Atomos Shinobi 7 RX HDMI/SDI HDR On-Camera Monitor/Wireless Receiver
Add a bright, high-resolution monitoring solution to your live production kit with the Atomos Shinobi 7 RX HDMI/SDI HDR On-Camera Monitor & Wireless Receiver. Designed for focus pullers, directors, and camera assistants, the Shinobi 7 RX features a 7" daylight-viewable HDR display, advanced camera control options, and integrated long-range wireless monitoring—making it an ideal tool for both on-set and remote workflows.
The 7" 2200-nit IPS display provides exceptional visibility outdoors without a sun hood, and its factory color calibration ensures reliable, accurate image reproduction. Built-in Wi-Fi 6E allows the Shinobi 7 RX to pair seamlessly with Atomos TX transmitters or view RTSP H.264 streams with latency under 60 ms from up to 300 m (984 ft) away, giving your crew the ability to move freely without losing visual contact.
Connectivity is equally versatile: monitor DCI/UHD 4K up to 60 fps via HDMI 2.0, or 1080p60 via 3G-SDI, with cross-conversion between HDMI and SDI for flexible I/O workflows. Both HDMI and SDI loop outputs are available for downstream monitoring.
With touch-to-focus, you can tap the screen to trigger autofocus on compatible cameras—ideal for remote focus pulling or rapid on-set adjustments. Powering options include dual NP-F/L-series battery slots, USB-C PD power, and support for dummy batteries, ensuring uninterrupted operation throughout the shoot. The USB-C port also provides camera control and allows the use of external calibration devices.
The Shinobi 7 RX supports a wide range of Log and HDR formats, including Sony S-Log3, Canon C-Log3, ARRI LogCEI, RED Log3G10/12, Panasonic V-Log, and more—making it compatible with virtually all modern cinema and mirrorless cameras. HDR monitoring includes BT.2020, DCI-P3, and Rec.709 profiles for accurate on-set evaluation.
Audio monitoring is available via embedded HDMI/SDI channels, a 3.5 mm headphone output, and a dedicated 3.5 mm stereo line input for external audio sources.
Powered by the latest AtomOS, the monitor provides essential analysis tools such as waveform, vectorscope, RGB parade, false color, focus peaking, histogram, and multi-scope views. A built-in SD slot allows loading and applying custom 3D LUTs across both input and output signals.
The Shinobi 7 RX also offers intuitive camera control for Canon, Sony (via USB-C), FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Z CAM E2 cameras—supporting settings such as aperture, shutter, ISO, record trigger, overlays, white balance, and more.
For precise color accuracy, the monitor supports calibration using the Calibrite Display Pro HL/Plus HL probes via the Atomos Calibrator app.
Rounding out its versatility, the Shinobi 7 RX includes full anamorphic de-squeeze support, offering presets from 1.25x up to 2x for comfortably monitoring anamorphic workflows on set.
