The Sony BC-SAD1 Battery Charger is a high-efficiency dual-charging solution designed for NP-SA100 batteries, making it ideal for professional workflows that require reliable, continuous power availability. It allows users to charge two batteries simultaneously or independently, ensuring minimal downtime during production, events, or extended shooting sessions.
Engineered for speed and convenience, the BC-SAD1 can fully charge two NP-SA100 batteries in approximately 115 minutes. A single battery can be fully charged in around 85 minutes, or brought up to 80% charge in just 55 minutes, providing flexible charging options depending on time constraints and workflow needs.
Compact and purpose-built for professional environments, the charger helps ensure that high-capacity batteries are always ready for use, supporting uninterrupted operation in demanding field or studio applications.
NOTE:
The BCSAD1 Battery Charger requires a USB-C charger that can provide a minimum of 45W PD on a single port. It also requires a minimum 60W USB-C cable to supply the higher voltage.
The best recommendation is to use a 100W - 65W PD USB-C charger paired with a 100W-capable USB-C cable.
NP-SA100 batteries, power supply adaptor, and cable are not included with the A7RM6 or the BCSAD1. A USB PD (USB Power Delivery) power supply and a USB Type-C® cable (USB-C® - USB-C), both rated at 45 W or higher, are required.
