The Pelican 1660 Protector Case is a heavy-duty protective case designed to keep sensitive equipment secure during transport and demanding environments. Its ultrahigh-impact structural copolymer construction provides exceptional strength and durability, while the case is designed to resist dust, crushing, water, chemicals and corrosion.

For secure transport, the Pelican 1660 features easy-open double-throw latches with stainless steel padlock protectors, allowing users to add their own padlocks. An automatic pressure equalisation valve helps balance internal pressure, making the case easier to open after air travel. The IP67 rating allows the case to withstand submersion to 3.3' / 1 m for up to 30 minutes.

Transporting heavy equipment is made easier with oversized folding side handles, a folding top handle, a retractable pull handle and four built-in polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings. Inside, three layers of Pick N Pluck foam, together with lid and base foam layers, allow the interior to be customised while providing additional cushioning and protection.
