The Nanlite PavoTube II 6XR RGBWW LED Pixel Tube Light is a compact yet powerful 8-pixel LED tube designed to deliver versatile lighting for any creative environment. As the upgraded successor to the popular PavoTube II 6C, the 6XR offers improved performance while maintaining the same lightweight and portable design. This “XR” version introduces wireless LumenRadio CRMX support, ideal for professional users requiring advanced control options. With its expanded CCT range from 2700K to 12,000K, eight controllable pixels, and multiple power options, the 6XR provides exceptional flexibility for filmmakers, photographers, and content creators alike. It can be powered via its built-in USB-C rechargeable battery, AC power, or optional power banks, allowing you to use it virtually anywhere.

Nanlite has taken what worked well with the 6C and made it even better. The PavoTube II 6XR adds DMX/RDM and CRMX compatibility, refined app control, and a broader CCT range for superior lighting accuracy. It also includes 36,000 RGB colours, pixel-based effects, and classic lighting presets, giving creators endless opportunities for experimentation. Despite its small 10" body, the 6XR delivers impressive brightness and can easily be used for video calls, fill light, accent lighting, or as a creative RGB wash on set. Its compact design allows it to fit discreetly into tight spaces, making it an ideal choice for studio or on-location shoots.

Offering 0–100% dimming, a wide 2700–12,000K colour temperature range, and ±150 green/magenta adjustment, the PavoTube II 6XR provides precise colour control. This improved CCT range surpasses that of the previous 6C model. The light also features multiple built-in effects such as Hue Loop, CCT Loop, Int Loop, Multi Colour, Fade, Process, Scroll, Fire, Rainbow, and Driving, all customisable and savable as presets via the Nanlink app.

With up to 36,000 RGB colours, CCT and HSI modes, and 230 LEE and ROSCO gel presets, the 6XR delivers accurate, flattering light with a CRI of 96, TLCI of 97, and SSI ratings of 83 at 3200K and 73 at 5600K. At 5600K, it outputs 139 lux at 1 metre, ensuring natural skin tones and consistent colour rendition for professional use.

Control is simple and flexible thanks to onboard controls, Bluetooth, DMX/RDM via USB-C, and NFC pairing for quick setup. The integrated LumenRadio CRMX receiver provides reliable wireless DMX connectivity, making this model ideal for users who need seamless integration with existing lighting setups. The only difference between the 6X and the 6XR models is the inclusion of this built-in CRMX functionality.

The internal rechargeable battery provides up to 53 minutes of runtime at 100% brightness, or approximately two hours at 50%. It supports PD 3.0 fast charging via USB-C and can run continuously while charging from AC power. For even more versatility, it’s compatible with optional NP-F battery grips, and a USB-C cable is included for convenience. The upgraded recessed on/off switch prevents accidental activation during transport or use.

Mounting options are equally flexible. The PavoTube II 6XR fits T12 diameter accessories and includes two ¼"-20 threads on each end, as well as strong built-in magnets for quick attachment to metal surfaces. Nanlite also supplies iron plates for mounting on non-metal surfaces. Optional accessories such as the EC-PTII6C fabric grid and the AS-WB-PTII6C waterproof bag expand its capabilities further, and all accessories from the previous 6C model remain fully compatible with the 6XR.

Weighing only 270 grams, the PavoTube II 6XR is compact and portable, making it an excellent tool for small spaces or on-the-go lighting setups. It comes with a protective carry bag, ensuring you can take your creativity anywhere with ease.
