With its fast T1.6 aperture, the lens performs superbly in low-light conditions while allowing for a shallow depth of field that beautifully isolates subjects. It covers a 46.5mm image circle, supporting large-format, full-frame, and VistaVision sensors, making it versatile for a wide range of cinema cameras.
The included ARRI PL mount offers broad compatibility, allowing users to easily switch to ARRI LPL or Canon EF mounts (sold separately) as needed. A relatively lightweight build makes this 50mm lens suitable for handheld, shoulder-mounted, and rig-mounted shooting scenarios. At the same time, dual-scale focus markings in both feet and metres enhance on-set usability.
