The Focusrite Pro RedNet X2P is a compact 2×2 Dante-enabled audio interface designed to add high-quality microphone, line, or instrument inputs to any Dante audio-over-IP (AoIP) network or existing RedNet system. Featuring two renowned Red Evolution microphone preamps, the interface delivers clean, detailed gain with selectable phantom power, polarity reverse, an 80 Hz high-pass filter, and Focusrite’s Air mode, which recreates the bright, open character of classic transformer-based Focusrite preamps with presence boosts around 10 and 20 kHz.

Designed for flexible networked audio workflows, the RedNet X2P connects through a single Ethernet cable that carries audio, remote control, and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter. A secondary etherCON port functions as an integrated network switch, allowing convenient daisy-chaining of Dante devices. The unit can also be powered using the included 12 VDC power supply when PoE is unavailable.

The rear panel provides two locking combo XLR-1/4" inputs for microphones, line-level sources, or instruments, along with two balanced XLR line outputs capable of delivering up to +24 dBu. On the front panel, a powerful 1/4" headphone output with its own level control can easily drive both low- and high-impedance headphones. A local input mixer allows performers to adjust their personal monitoring balance, while a control lockout function prevents accidental changes when the unit is being remotely managed.

Supporting 24-bit / 96 kHz audio conversion, the RedNet X2P offers excellent sonic performance with up to 120 dB dynamic range on line outputs and 117 dB for headphone monitoring. Its rugged steel and aluminum chassis ensures durability in studio, broadcast, and live sound environments, and the integrated mic stand mount keeps the interface within reach while minimizing clutter in tight setups.

Additional conveniences include independent headphone and line output level controls, a line output mute switch, a Kensington security slot, and bundled Brainworx bx_console Focusrite plug-in software, which emulates the classic Focusrite ISA 110 EQ and ISA 130 dynamics modules for authentic vintage processing inside your DAW.
