Measuring just 38 × 25 × 13 mm, it delivers pristine 32-bit float recording in a discreet form factor that’s easy to hide or mount wherever sound matters most.

Powered by four precision MEMS microphones, the Instamic captures a wide frequency range from 40 Hz to 20 kHz and handles sound pressure levels up to 135 dB SPL, ensuring clear, natural audio even in loud or unpredictable conditions. With 32-bit float recording, you’ll capture every detail—from subtle dialogue to sudden peaks—without worrying about clipping or setting levels, making it ideal for fast-paced shoots and run-and-gun recording.

Built for tough environments, the Instamic Pro Plus C is rated IP67, making it fully dustproof and waterproof, and capable of submersion to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes. It’s perfectly suited for outdoor shoots, action filming, and demanding production environments. Flexible mounting options include a magnetic clip, adhesive tape, and nano suction tape, making attachment to clothing, vehicles, or set pieces easy. With up to 4.5 hours of continuous recording and convenient USB-C recharging, it’s ready for extended field use.

Designed for professional workflows, the Pro Plus C features a high-precision 2.5 ppm internal timecode clock and supports Atomos and Tentacle Sync wireless timecode for accurate, drift-free audio-video synchronisation. It can also operate as a Bluetooth microphone for smartphones and computers. Using the Instamic app, you can record video with synced Instamic audio directly—no post-sync required. The system works seamlessly with popular apps such as Filmic and Blackmagic Camera, and is compatible with iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows.

The Instamic Remote App (iOS and Android) lets you control up to 10 units simultaneously, including power management, live monitoring, timecode syncing, and adjustable 3-band EQ, all from your phone or tablet.

For the Mono model, recording modes include standard Mono for focused voice capture and Dual-Mono, which sends an identical signal to both channels for consistent post-production workflows. Instamic also connects wirelessly to a wide range of action cameras, including GoPro, Insta360, and Garmin, enabling audio to sync directly with video.

Optional colour covers help the recorder blend discreetly into clothing or backgrounds, while additional accessories such as windshields and a GoPro adapter further expand its versatility.
